Check out the song, "Just a Dream" by Eric Roberson off of his 2005 album, The Appetizer. In my opinion this artist is very underrated. He sounds like a mix between Brian McKnight and Dwele. This is one of those songs you can put on when you want to relax and get your mind off of things; once you hear the song, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Orignal vs. Cover: Bonnie Raitt vs. Boyz II Men
This is the first installment of the "Original Vs. Cover" series. I will post two versions of a song, the original and the cover to the original song. The first in the series is the song, "I Can't Make You Love Me" originally sung by Bonnie Raitt and the cover is by Boyz II Men.
Although Boyz II Men did a wonderful job covering the song, I still prefer the original by Bonnie Raitt. I can hear so much emotion in her voice and the piano playing throughout the song is a nice touch as well.
Let me know what you think below!

Ne-Yo "Beautiful Monster" & "Champagne Life" music videos

"The Gentleman" is back! Ne-yo has premiered his first singles, "Beautiful Monster" and "Champagne Life" from his upcoming fourth studio album, Libra Scale. All of the songs on the new album are inspired by a story that Ne-Yo wrote and all of his music videos are mini-movies that help tell that story. The overall theme of the album is a question that Ne-yo asks: "If given the chance to choose between money, power, fame, and love, which would you choose?" Ne-yo must weigh his options on a scale and he's a libra, hence the name, Libra Scale.
"Beautiful Monster" is more along the lines of "Closer", while "Champagne Life" is closer to his R & B stuff. I think both videos are great; Ne-yo is definitely stepping his game up and growing as an artist. Libra Scale is in stores on September 21st!
